About The Role: Help us drive development of innovative Payment Solutions for Small Business merchants around the world. We are seeking a talented & proven Product Manager who can lead the conception, development and rollout of Payment features desired by SMB merchants today and into the future.This “digital native” candidate will deliver a robust product roadmap and backlog using their expertise in product management, customer & client experience, business process mapping and automation, multi-channel commerce, and agile delivery. We are looking for someone who understands merchant payment needs across web and mobile channels, has worked with modern technology stacks (cloud services, API integrations, microservices, mobile/web front-ends, etc.), and embraces design thinking (client journey, UX / UI, moments of truth).The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about designing customer-obsessed products. They manage product release plans, flexibly adapt to internal & market forces, and have superior influencing / relationship management skills. This person will succeed by achieving goals driven by optimal digital experience, product performance KPI, time-to-market, internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

    • Manage the development of web based payment applications that power payments for Chase Payment Solutions customers.
    • Manage a product roadmap that balances stakeholder inputs and MVP releases.
    • Prioritize the product backlog based on client demand, business cases, product KPI, strategic business goals (customer R&D, competitive, market).
    • Identify potential roadblocks and develop recommendations for delivery issues, change requests, pre-release QA, production issues.
    • Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, product requirements/epics/stories to support development.
    • Monitor product performance with daily reports, monthly dashboards, and periodic stakeholder reviews.
    • Monitor industry assessments that provide detailed insights into the competitive landscape and best practices and then leverage those insights to inform our roadmap.
    • Partner with various internal teams (product, design, technology, risk, legal, compliance, ops, marketing, sales...) to manage prioritization, resourcing, controls, readiness, and go-to-market plans.
    • Collaborate and partner with 3rd party vendors & alliances to enhance product offerings.

What We Are Looking For:

    • 5+ years experience defining and launching world class products.
    • Experience in digital channels, eCommerce and/or mobile experience needed.
    • Experience with payment and/or point of sale solutions preferred and/or keen interest in the domain.
    • Proven track record of managing new product launches and feature roll-outs.
    • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large-scale initiatives.
    • Ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written).
    • Ability to influence and collaborate to drive delivery through cross-functional teams.
    • A positive, team-player who thrives in cross-functional fast-paced environments.
