Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• D evelop and own techn ology Strategies using experience in all Enterprise Architecture domains , including telephony, data, application, infrastructure, integration, security and business architecture

• Drive Definition, g overnance and e nforcement of b est p ractices of all aspects of enterprise architecture, utili s ing industry standards like eTOM , TOGAF, SOA, ITIL, SAFe and Principal Vendor recommendations
• Modernisation, s tandardisation and e nterprise s ystem i ntegration of l egacy s ystems and p latforms using e vent- d riven M icro s ervices a rchitecture
• Develop technology roadmaps that include software, hardware and infrastructure elements aligned with future growth plans
• Engage and collaborate with internal Blueface teams and external clients and partners
• Develop plans and strategies for replacing legacy technology systems, including cloud migration solutions and roadmaps

• Establis h the organisational, process and technological context (and architecture) that supports the adoption of emerging technologies
• Drive alignment to suitable technology and industry standards
• Demonstrate understanding of end-to-end systems and solutions, including the ability to understand and define software and hardware capacity requirements based on system or user requirements
• C onceptualise and translate innovations into end-to-end technical solutions
• Identify technical gaps, opportunities, or inefficiencies in any area of architecture and the overall application development lifecycle and develop plans to close such gaps

• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Communicate system requirements to the architecture , development , testing & infrastructure teams ensuring
• Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure achieves business and technical objectives
• Coaching, mentoring and guiding a diverse team of architects, engineers & develop next line of capability

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 1 5 + years practical experience in an ICT A r chitectural role with at least 10 years' experience in architectural leadership, design authority, driving direction for Architecture teams within a technology-driven o rg anisation
• Experience in driving Enterprise Architecture driving a Digital Transformation at leading Telcos for the End - to-End stack
• architecture based on Genesys SIP Management Layer, and Interaction Routing, and IP SIP trunks for device solutions

• Experience in positioning Solutions to an executive audience
• Proven architecture, design, and implementation experience with large scale programmes
• Demonstrated e xperience communicating with executives and presenting materials to non-ICT stakeholders , and managing expectations
• Experience in developing IT Strategies that includes elements on aligning to the business strategy, Enterprise Architecture and departmental Operating Model s
• Experience in the development of strategic ICT road maps , including the introduction of new systems & technologies and the decommissioning and migration of legacy systems

• Demonstrated a bility to work through ambiguity to conceptuali s e and translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions
• Familiarity with multiple technologies and development lan guag es (python, Angular) such as those from Microsoft, Oracle
• Experience in driving transformation road maps giving evolution of enterprise solution portfolios from as-is state to desired future digital state
• A t rack record of ownership of the a rchitecture and d esign activities and outputs of projects
• Experience at providing technical leadership to project resources to meet project deadlines and ensure project objectives are met; Ability to review architecture designs to identify issues and risks, escalating them as needed.

• Ability to think strategically and develop long term plans, roadmaps, and ICT Strategies
• Innovative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technology and ability to learn quickly.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A broad understanding and knowledge of industry technology trends
• Have a wide breadth of IT skills with familiarity in software development lifecycle (SDLC), Storage & networks, cloud and SaaS , IT security, DevOps, and system integration methods
• Ability to understand and define software, hardware and infrastructure capacity requirements based on system or user requirements.
