Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Corporate Communications to join our Communications organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside Advisory and Consulting communications leadership, support the development and management of the internal communications strategy for KPMG’s Consulting group, with a focus on executive-level messaging and operational enablement – communicating the Advisory and Consulting strategic vision to 12,000+ professionals
  • Facilitate collaborative development of strategic messaging and content for Consulting Leadership Team members and program owners (all-hands meetings, change management comms for new initiatives and/or operational processes, organizational changes, special projects)
  • Manage planning and execution of recurring newsletters and serve as a subject matter expert on internal communications channels for business process team members
  • Triage communication questions and/or tasks across the appropriate stakeholder groups and serve as a liaison to the Consulting business to ensure alignment on messaging and process
  • Define and establish best practice systems and processes for optimizing and measuring communication efficacy; apply rigorous attention to tasks and deliverables and measure and monitor progress to drive successful outcomes
  • Develop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships and proactively support other team members and projects; coordinate communications efforts with wider Advisory communications to ensure function and firmwide consistency

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent experience working in Communications, with industry knowledge and agency experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business or related field
  • Strong track record of developing successful strategies and content for multiple communications channels; comfortable working with senior leaders
  • Exceptional writing and project management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive, multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Collaborator and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment
