Project summary:

In Platform Engineering we build the systems that build, automate, deploy, and run our company’s applications. We are an operations team, which means we support other teams and their requests in development and production environments. As such, interns will not be working on customer-facing applications or systems but rather ones that are used within the company to deliver those applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with terraform to provision infrastructure in an automated fashion
• Work with AWS and their various offerings as required by application teams
• Work with observability tools to create dashboards and understand trends
• Supporting the monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration of platform services

Requirements:

• Core Coding Concepts
• Hands on experience with one or more languages; Java, Python, SQL
• Understanding of basic agile methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Linux or AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, etc.) is a plus
• Kubernetes or Docker is a plus
