WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Braze is looking for a Berlin-based DACH Field Marketing Manager to support the scaling of DACH Marketing in EMEA, with a focus on generating, accelerating, and monitoring marketing sourced pipeline for the region. This role will regionalise EMEA field marketing programs for DACH and develop new field marketing programs that align to specific DACH and Central European go-to-market (GTM) needs established by the DACH sales team. Field programs at Braze primarily consist of events and post event ABM programs, sales enablement, and support of the BDR organization through generating MQLs. Braze Field marketers focus on net new business acquisition and outbound prospecting campaigns. Events and ABM revenue generation skill sets will be key to success. If you have a passion for field marketing, ABM, working with sales teams, and creativity, we’d love to have you join our growing marketing team. You'll be a part of the growing group of hires specifically focused on the DACH region based in Berlin. You will be supported by, and collaborate closely with, a centralized EMEA marketing team based in London and a large HQ marketing team in New York.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with Sales and Business Development representatives on the development and execution of field marketing programs for the region.
  • Serve as the voice of the DACH market within the marketing department to ensure initiatives align with larger business needs for the DACH region.
  • Develop and execute localized event and ABM programs for DACH target accounts to drive net new expansion within the region.

The day to day job will include the planning and execution of programs including but not limited to:

  • Working closely with London and global marketing teams to leverage and localize field marketing programs for the DACH region.
  • Partnering with the London Growth Marketing team to accelerate and convert high-intent leads to pipeline.
  • Ensuring always-on product content is amplified in the DACH market, including customer case studies, email marketing content, and nurture campaign content.
  • At times, proof-reading German marketing collateral for brand quality.
  • Planning and executing in-person and online events for DACH sales targets from top of funnel events (sponsorships, speaking engagements, etc.) to bottom of funnel events (networking, entertainment, workshops).
  • Ensuring DACH GTM teams are enabled on all marketing activities, joining meetings regularly.
  • Owning DACH reporting and analysis of all DACH campaign performance to understand, adjust, and optimize tactics.
  • Owning budget responsibility for DACH marketing budget.
  • Traveling into various markets and interfacing directly with customers, prospects, and partners to support lead generation and pipeline development efforts.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3-5+ years experience in the areas of field marketing, demand generation, events in B2B SaaS, required.
  • Native/Fluent German speaker.
  • High aptitude for looking at problems as opportunities, then working with others to create unique solutions to solve them.
  • Experience in the hands-on development and execution of pipeline generation strategies, using creativity and a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work with and maintain long-term relationships with internal teams, prospects, and vendors
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to juggle multiple, demanding tasks simultaneously and with accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate with other internal departments to deliver on targets.
  • Familiarity with DACH tech and marketing communities; familiarity with SaaS business communities a plus.
  • International and Domestic travel, when required.
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • Experience working in inside sales is a plus.
