We are Cisco Security’s “Revenue Operations and Insights” (ROI) team. We are responsible for supporting an integrated and secure cloud based platform designed to orchestrate the entire Go-To-Market (GTM) Lifecycle and take you from “Lead” to “Close” with advanced analytics.

What You’ll Do:

Do you enjoy working with global teams and solving challenging data problems? Cisco Security’s Revenue Operations and Insights – Program Management team seeks a Technical Program Manager with experience managing Analytics projects. This role will partner closely with team managers, data architects, data engineers, and other project/program to manage a portfolio of advanced analytics project and platform feature work. This includes tracking collection of requirements, design, scope, and scheduling of work for solutions that have high impact to Cisco’s Security Business.

While the primary focus of this role includes support of our analytics team in India, there will be an opportunity to work with our global organization of Program/Project Managers and Analytics teams.

You will:

  • Work with our global Data and Insights (Business Intelligence) team to plan scope, deliverables, required resources, and deadlines for advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Conduct regular team and project status meetings. Includes facilitation of Agile ceremonies such as Standups, retrospectives, as well as effective communication to both internal and external team stakeholders.
  • Work with other Program/Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Data Analysts/Engineers to translate requirements to work items.
  • Track, measure, and report development capacity of the team, in partnership with team management
  • Partner with our analytics Support group and effectively triage and assist in tracking of data operations work.
  • Exceptional communication with both technical and business teams, with the ability to translate between the two. Ability to influence both without direct authority.

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years in Project/Program Management with a strong desire for experience in program/project management of analytics projects
  • Hands on experience managing Scrum teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile concepts, while not dogmatic on processes. Flexible to apply processes that work best for the team culture and environment.
  • A background working with internal Sales, Product Management, Finance, Marketing, and other Business stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with Project and Support Work tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, Aha
  • Exposure to analytics technologies and development solutions such as Snowflake, Matillion, Python, R
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce is a ++
  • Exposure to visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
  • Experience working with a global team across time zones
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce Platform a huge ++
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce is a ++
  • Knowledge of Jira, SharePoint, the Salesforce Platform, and Smartsheet is a ++
  • Relevant Industry and academic credentials such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), MBA
