We are hiring an Operations Manager to join our Duolingo English Test Proctoring Team and to work out of our Pittsburgh office. This is the ideal role for someone with process and people operations experience who is passionate about leading and scaling a remote team within a global proctoring workforce in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You Will...

• Lead a large international team of remote contractors
• Ensure that all of our processes are followed and seek continuous improvements
• Be responsible for tracking and ensuring your team’s key success metrics are met
• Oversee hiring, training, and development within the team
• Communicate and collaborate regularly with other Operations Managers and team leadership
• Lead projects to improve the quality and efficiency of our processes
• Work out of the Pittsburgh office
• Be on call in the evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

You Have...

• 3+ years of people management experience
• 3+ years of project/operations management experience
• Experience communicating between different groups of stakeholders
• The ability to see the big picture and to focus on important details
• Strong process management skills
• Engaging people management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• A passion for making education accessible to all

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...

• Experience managing large contractor teams
• Assessment operations experience
• Applied ESL background
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, French, or an Indian language
