WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Financial Systems Project Manager works on projects to drive operational and process improvement initiatives throughout the Finance organization. Projects range in size and scope and include system implementations, business process automation, system integrations, among others. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, is detail-oriented, resourceful, and collaborative, with a drive to deliver scalable solutions needed for our high growth business.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute and lead complex projects from onboarding through closure using project management expertise
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to establish project goals, objectives, and critical success factors
• Maintain and communicate the project plan to stakeholders, track progress toward goals ensuring that all requirements are met, and provide timely feedback when there are variances
• Work with Financial Systems Managers to develop technical solutions to drive automation, strengthen IT controls, and increase operational efficiency
• Manage dependencies with cross functional teams, identify bottlenecks, communicate trade-offs, prioritize tasks and set realistic expectations
• Implement strong change management strategies to ensure that stakeholders and teams are proficient and attuned to newly implemented systems and processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, Information Technology, or other relevant coursework.
• 3-5 years of project management experience
• Experience leading financial systems implementations or large cross-departmental projects
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting business functions including Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Expense Management, etc.
• Strong understanding of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and SDLC
• Experience using Project Management tools e.g. Asana or Jira
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a keen ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
• Collaborative work style with the ability to adapt and maintain flexibility when faced with changing business priorities
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scope and impact
