The role is an exciting one that will offer you the ability to design, build, and contribute to a very new function with the Career Impact Success team at the intersection of program delivery and mentor management. As part of your role, you will have the chance to wear multiple hats - from operationalizing products at scale, monitoring and reporting against operational KPIs, to designing and building a robust mentor management system for the new Career Mentor offering which is now delivered globally.

Responsibilities:
Career Mentor Management
- Design and manage Udacity's new network of external contractors (Career Coaches and Freelancing Gurus) doing the following (performance management, monthly payments reporting, coaching). More specifically:
- Assist with mentor onboarding to ensure they are equipped to provide effective technical support to students
- Evaluate and monitor mentor performance during their online sessions or webinars
- Collect and analyze data to make performance-related decisions and identify areas for increased support and improvement
- Provide feedback to mentors, both individually and at scale, that includes specific, actionable next steps
- Execute reward plans for high performers and create and implement corrective-action plans that address undesirable behaviors and/or outcomes among low-performing mentors
- Collect feedback from mentors that can be used to improve course content or program experience, and/or services that can result in better student experiences,
- Communicate challenges, needs, and opportunities facing the mentor network with relevant stakeholders within Udacity (eg - Content, Engineering, Product)
- Nurture and maintain relationships with integrity and professionalism
Program delivery:
- Operationalize student facing career products and programs at scale with various entities, including government entities, semi-government entities, and donor corporations
- Measure, analyze and report on student feedback and performance for Udacity’s career offerings while tracking against KPIs
- Create presentations and conduct student kick-offs for career programs
- Identify key-blockers and challenges in the current operations & internal tools, and participate in the improvement plan
- Meet quarterly and annual targets for operations and enhancements
- Participate in the planning, executing, and monitoring of governments’ student programs to satisfy the students’ and the stakeholders’ objectives
- Co-create and implement career programs to improve employment outcomes at scale for thousands of Udacity graduates leveraging Udacity’s internal tools
What We Value:
- Ability to speak and write in English, Arabic fluently
- 3+ years experience in end-to-end project management and operations management
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Comfort manipulating large sets of data and developing insightful presentations
- Entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness in operationalizing and implementing Career offerings and programs for thousands of Udacity students and graduates
- Strong experience using Excel functions (e.g. pivot tables, query, Vlookup..etc) and Google Suite tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Google Docs)
- Ability to work and execute operations management as per a proposed timeline
- Proven track record managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across geographies,
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage several work streams simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of recruitment and headhunting skills
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and in collaboration with other teams
- Ability to handle mid to senior level stakeholders and interface with Udacity clients occasionally
- Ability to quickly identify opportunities, collaborate with multiple team members and influence decision makers
- Ability to drive initiatives, execute independently and be resourceful
- Adaptability and curiosity in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Passion for learning and opportunity, digital transformation and tech-related projects
- A strong team player with a strong, ego-free, sense of empathy who enjoys collaborating, asking for and providing help when necessary
