We are looking for an operations expert to join our growing Talent Acquisition team here at Duolingo!

You will be instrumental in helping to uplevel the team in all things operations and tools involving talent acquisition projects — from our careers site to building out our internal tool stack, all to help us find the world’s best talent!

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to drive Talent Acquisition project management and influence a pivotal function by helping to create and launch effective recruiting practices. This is a unique role that will enable you to wear many hats and stretch your professional abilities in new ways.

You Will...

• Own the Talent Acquisition tool stack.
• Be the point of contact for our vendors and help to collaborate on new initiatives, contract negotiations, and feedback cycles.
• Help to develop a formalized intake process to scale the prioritization and effectiveness of the team.
• Help us implement and build a Talent Acquisition tech stack and own relationships with third-party vendors.
• Lead the delivery of strategic, high-impact cross-functional Talent Acquisition initiatives from ideation to launch.
• Leverage technical expertise to develop thorough plans with key milestones and goals, identify and mitigate risks, solve for dependencies, remove impediments, and ensure timely and smooth project launches.
• Drive decisions when difficult tradeoffs must be made; serve as a role model for navigating problems with an analytical approach and calming demeanor.

You Have...

• 5+ years experience in recruiting systems/program management
• Minimum of a baccalaureate degree
• A strong sense of project management.
• Ability to move quickly and drive collaborative teams to a solution, including finding alternatives to projects that require heavy involvement from Engineering, Design, and Marketing.
• Ability to operate as both a strategist and a leader and roll up your sleeves to execute.
• Ability to operate effectively with only high-level direction in a fast-paced environment, with a desire both to learn new techniques and educate others.
• A meticulous sense of organization, with resourcefulness for operational excellence.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...

• 5+ years experience in recruiting operations or technical program management
• Experience working with teams and technical projects distributed across the globe, including APAC and EMEA
• Experience articulating business questions, and using available data to find answers that translate into business recommendations
• Experience running projects that include large datasets; advanced analytical skills a plus
• Hyper-vigilant attention to detail
• Prior experience in a high-growth fast-paced environments
• Understanding of Talent Acquisition
• Comfortable working in some or all of the following systems Greenhouse, Prelude, Gem, Airtable, Gsuite
