Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Customer & Operations for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive engagement delivery and lead key business development activities for our supply chain advisory services including targeting key C- level clients, proposing our services and closing opportunities
  • Lead/co-lead highly skilled client and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle by leveraging our supply chain approaches/frameworks and ensuring timely execution of project deliverables
  • Execute supply chain planning transformation by driving change in process design, organizational restructuring, business and IT functional requirements, improved operational performance
  • Lead and execute supply chain planning software implementation, including design and configuration, development and testing
  • Participate in continual publication of thought leadership and development of service offerings
  • Assist Partners with practice administration including resource allocation, career development of staff and other people management decisions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of external management consulting or equivalent industry experience providing supply chain transformation, supply chain planning implementation, and S&OP services to clients; experience must include demand planning, supply/capacity planning and optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, operations research or a related field from an accredited college/university; MBA/MS preferred
  • Experience configuring SAP/IBP, Blue Yonder (BY), o9, and/or Kinaxis software solutions for demand & supply planning, including: consensus forecasting, promotions planning, statistical forecasting methods, constraints based planning and optimization (including capacity optimization), production planning & scheduling, inventory planning & optimization, business scenarios and what-if analysis design
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, improve and redesign the supply chain planning and S&OP processes spanning information and analytic requirements, governance, product and financial flows across the supply chain
  • Excellent foundational consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Travel as needed
