Job Description

The Client Incentive Operations team is responsible for managing Client Incentive agreements. The team determine the accounting treatment of the incentives in accordance with US GAAP and ensure compliance with contractual terms on executed Client Agreements. This includes assessment of any contingent liability clauses. The team manages lifecycle events associated with executed contracts such as building financial models to calculate incentive accruals, processing payments and processing contract renewal. The process is highly complex, bespoke and requires significant interactions with other teams such as Deals, Client Incentive Market Specialists and Account Executives

Responsibilities will include the ‘build’ of complex and unique contractual terms in Oracle Revenue Management & Billing system (ORMB) or Excel, calculating payments due to clients and calculating quarterly true-ups for accruals held.

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Manages the build of new contracts and amendments in ORMB and Excel
  • Manage monthly payment cycle – calculating amounts due and administer payments
  • Perform true-up calculations on a quarterly basis
  • Build and maintain relationships with Client Incentives Front Office, Contract Management and Account Executives as is necessary
  • Ensure liabilities are represented in financial and management accounts as part of the month/quarter end process, for both US GAAP and IFRS books
  • Provides support during internal and external audit in relation to Client Incentive processes
  • Manage tight deadlines and support overall team priorities to ensure Europe meets the global deadlines
  • Support process improvement initiatives to optimize team activities
  • Any other ad-hoc requests as considered necessary

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Inquisitive, strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver work to a high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated experience with the preparation of complex accounting tasks, with input from multiple sources and involving complex calculations
• Strong understanding of financial control principles and ability to apply them to work performed to reduce error rate
• Advanced Excel skills
• Qualified accountant
Qualifications:
