Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Digital Management to join our Data Services & Operations organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Data Standards with a cross functional US Data Working Group (to include Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Legal) that are reflective of currently applied US and other regulations and professional firm standards; continue to build awareness and increase adoption of the US firm Data Standards; develop and execute process to manage projects to oversee that delivery is consistent with data standards along with an exceptions process when standards can’t be adhered to
  • Lead process to clarify interpretations of the data standards, resolve issues, and manage exceptions; enhance and maintain stakeholder engagement mechanisms, prepare material, and facilitate meetings
  • Execute and mature privacy related function and processes; maintain data classification and policy engine logic and tagging rules; implement and operationalize the data reuse request process and supporting automation
  • Maintain business logic to drive reuse approvals and data handling with cross-functional working group consistent with US policies and standards; define data de-identification standards, procedures, and techniques; lead annual data maturity assessment process
  • Deliver training and continue to mature educational offerings; establish professional presence in the marketplace by networking and participating in external professional organizations
  • Accountable for managing an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement, and continuous improvement; and creating a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of experience managing change and effective communication to teams; advanced knowledge of the broader scope that frames the essential technical area of work with ability to use this knowledge to create incremental value and technical strategy
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to foster the development of high-performance teams
  • Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs; experience working within data governance or similar organizations
  • Maintain a flexible schedule due to travel, deadlines, and/or duties outside of normal business hours; Proven track record influencing diverse sets of stakeholders and driving common outcomes
