Insider Threat Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support Insider Risk Commercial engagements by designing and implementing insider threat programs through reviewing and assessing insider risk people, processes, and technologies for commercial clients in the financial services, pharmaceutical, energy and retail sectors. Leverage appropriate IT tools, analytic methodologies, and tradecraft to assess and design Insider Risk Management programs and to provide strategic support to management during all levels of implementation. Design and craft use cases and threat models, determine appropriate data sources, and assist with implementation, including determination of baselines and application of contextual analyses to assess anomalous events. Present recommendations and technology solutions to senior management based on the information compiled and reviewed and apply analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments. This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time to client site locations.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, security analytics, fraud, threat intelligence, or counterintelligence
• Experience with insider threat programs
• Experience with data loss prevention and end-point detection tools, including McAfee DLP, Digital Guardian, and Forcepoint
• Experience with User Behavior Analytic tools, including Securonix, GuruCul, Exabeam, and Splunk UBA
• Experience with commercial and Open-Source data analysis platforms, including Splunk or Hadoop
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with financial crimes and fraud threat environments, including fraud and security investigations
• Experience applying critical thinking, developing gap analysis, and creating implementation plans for the improvement of the internal management
• Experience with working in a fast-paced cybersecurity operational environment
• Experience with promptly responding to critical mission needs
• Experience with providing verbal and written briefings to executive leadership
