The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform Air Force Civil Engineering? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to testing for Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), and other operational technology (OT) devices and systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to test software and hardware updates on Civil Engineering Control Systems prior to those updates being pushed to active systems throughout the AF enterprise.

Our team assists the government with security and operations with ICS, SCADA, and OT devices and systems. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer who specializes in Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), and other operational technology (OT) devices and systems to help us design and execute a controls systems testbed. You’ll test and analyze OT equipment to establish production and operating controls. You’ll directly impact Air Force Civil Engineering by help obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO) on each AF installation. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in ICS, SCADA, and other operational technology while broadening your skillset into areas like cyber and networking. You Have:

• Experience with installing Metasys on servers and building graphics, trends, alarms, and scheduling
• Experience with performing software security updates, system patches, software patches, and version upgrades for Civil Engineering Control Systems, including Metasys, Monaco, Niagara AX platform, Alerton, Honeywell, Trend, KMC, American Automatrix, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, Schneider Electric, Automated Logic, Dorsett Technologies, and Loytec
• Experience with BACnet/MSTP, BACnet over IP, N2, MODBUS RTU, MODBUS IP, and LON
• Experience with installing software and maintaining Itron Fixed-Network and Schneider Electric meter data collection systems
• Knowledge of adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
