Job Description

As an Account Manager – OES, you will sell Bosch’s automotive product portfolio (all product lines including fuel injection systems, starters and generators, electrical drives, chassis control, and more) to existing OES customers and growing Progressive Mobility Partner (PMP) customer base. It will also be your responsibility to manage the product portfolio of OE - derived business - keeping accurate Product Lifecycle, MOQ’s, and lead times to ensure a consistent supply and profitability.

As an Account Manager, you will be tasked to:

  • Find, evaluate, and establish new “win / win” business models within defined customer group (off the shelf IAM, product modifications, remanufacturing)
  • Work with product marketing and category management teams to quantify and prioritize opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales + result quotas and goals for new business acquisitions.
  • Identify and act upon new growth opportunities with new and existing customers/markets specifically in the growth of non-OE derived business.
  • Analyze new product opportunities and recommend direction to sales and marketing management.
  • Fulfill role as Key Account Manager by negotiating projects in respect of pricing and program requirements with key OEM customers
  • Develop cross-divisional and cross-functional relationships within Bosch to the mutual benefit of our customers and our internal growth strategies
  • Actively participate in a global sales team in order to align activities and conditions for a global OEM business
  • Establish or supervise the establishment of contacts in the appropriate functions at the customer location
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient sales service and manage the customer relationship at all levels
  • Develop insight of customer and market trends and needs
  • Contribute to business planning process with manager to recognize product group trends and growth opportunities
  • Prepare and submit visit reports, RFQ database, itinerary, expense and other reports as required or requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area (Marketing, Sales, Engineering, etc...)
    • Or scheduled completion within 12 months of hire
  • 1-3 years of automotive-related experience
  • Highly cooperative and flexible in dynamic working environment
  • Excellent communication skills including: verbal, written and presentation
  • Strong financial and mathematical skills preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (during normal business operation)
