Home Care Manager – Posting #23242

Position Summary:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Home Care Program Manager. This position is based out of Seattle in South Park. The Home Care Program Manager is responsible for the daily operation and management of the Home Care Program under the direct supervision of the Cannon House Administrator. The Home Care Program Manager ensures that program services such as Chore Services, Personal Care, COPES, and Private Pay Programs provided in accordance with Sea Mar Policies and Procedures as well as by agency contracts and program service agreements. The Program Manager is responsible for the direct supervision and hiring of the Home Care staff including Supervisors and support staff.

Education and/or Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Public Affairs, Education, Psychology or other related fields with at least two years of work experience.
• Work experience or education in the field of geriatrics is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with geriatric clients may be considered in lieu of required education.
• Must have a working knowledge of aging and disabled services network and community service organizations.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the clients served.
• Previous supervisory, management/administrative experience required.
• Bilingual and bi-literate in the Spanish language strongly preferred but not required.
