The role

We are looking for an Event Executive to help bring Adyen to life in external and internal events. We are looking for a highly organised, creative thinker who is great at communicating and responsive to evolving business needs.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll use out-of-the-box thinking to connect Adyen with the right prospects and customers
  • Work cross-departmentally to recommend external events aligned to our goals
  • Support an internal events programme, including content, experience and design, vendors, comms, promotions, and production
  • Collaborate with marketing (PR, content, design, partner, demand gen and digital) to ensure events integrate with larger campaigns to maximise impact
  • Manage events on-site where necessary
  • Source appropriate suppliers and venues, negotiating contracts alongside stakeholder management
  • Maintain and develop event support materials such as merchandise and collateral with content and design
  • Prepare event invites, direct mailings, website and social media posts
  • Measure event ROI post-event tracking, wrap reports, and recommendations for future events.
  • Formulate and manage a budget across your event portfolio
  • Support with the coordination of Adyen’s hospitality program, including the management of invites and guest lists

Who you are

  • 2+ years event coordination experience in an agency or corporate environment
  • Experience working on a range of different event formats, i.e. conferences, dinners and exhibition. B2B event experience is a plus.
  • You like to challenge your creative side, and have a passion for event execution and comms
  • Project management comes naturally to you, you’re organised and like to keep others on track
  • You are a true team player and love the opportunity to work with many different stakeholders locally and globally
  • Experience with marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) is a plus
  • Knowledge of how the marketing funnel works and how to deliver impact and ROI is a plus
