We are currently seeking an Intermediate UX/ UI Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Creative team. This role is available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec, and can be performed remotely.

What we are looking for:

Working alongside other designers who are passionate about beautiful UI and UX, we are seeking a UX/UI Designer to design mockups, prepare assets for development handoff, UX build support, design hub pages and design landing pages. The UX/UI Designer will be carrying the visual execution of Clio’s brand over our digital marketing assets.

Reporting to our Manager, Digital Experience, we’re looking for someone with high attention to detail, who is eager to collaborate and work closely with stakeholders. You should be well versed in UI/UX design and able to create designs that support accessibility and usability. You should be able to maintain the UX/UI design as we scale the Clio brand.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering branded online digital experiences, which makes your role extremely important for our growth and success as we scale. You will also be responsible for designing simplified versions of Clio's product user interface that are used as marketing assets, which you will see across our site. This simplified UI helps users to understand the key function and features of the Clio product.

What you’ll work on:

• Own the UX of web page mockups and bring to life wireframes.
• Collaborate with developers to create clarity and achieve desired outcome.
• Prepare UI assets for development handoff.
• Creating Simplified Product Marketing UI graphics that illustrate our products core functionality and features.
• Identify and analyze opportunities to improve our existing website experience and interface.

What you may have:

• 3-5 years minimum experience working in a digital agency or as part of an in-house team.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility and best practices.
• Ability to clearly showcase and communicate your UX/UI design through well-structured Figma files.
• Excellent multi-tasking, communication and prioritization skills.
• The ability to see projects through from inception to production.
• A strong portfolio of projects which demonstrate creative, branded, solutions to UX/UI design.
• Proven skills across the field of graphic design, typography, user experience and interface design.
• Experienced with design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
• You have an understanding of development practices and can independently work with developers to bring your UX and UI designs to life. You will not be expected to code as we have an in-house development team who is keen to work with you.

Serious bonus points if you have:

• Experience using After Effects or other motion graphics software to create simple animations.
• Past experience working in a SaaS company.
