In line with Sentry’s growth plan, the Accounting Team is growing as well! We are looking for a strong Payroll Manager to own the global payroll operations and activities. In addition, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing processes and systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.

In this role you will:

  • Lead monthly and semi-monthly payroll timely and accurately for multiple state and international employees.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, federal regulations, and international locations.
  • Be the subject matter expert in researching and understanding new rules and tax regulations related to payroll.
  • Partner with other functional leads to develop processes and analyze systems which allow Sentry to scale.
  • Prepare bonus and other payroll related accruals and reconciliations.
  • You are a self sufficient do-er, someone who enjoys ownership of a process or project and can proactively / efficiently work cross functionally to make progress
  • You feel passionate about bringing an analytical lens and due diligence philosophy to your responsibilities
  • You are comfortable with the pace and dynamic environment of our actively-growing business

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in full cycle global payroll administration experience
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and general ledger accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrates ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize specific tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment
