Sr. Financial Analyst

Tile Inc is looking for a data driven, detail-oriented Sr. Financial Analyst who will be an integral part of a small but growing finance team that is critical to Tile’s business operations. In addition to your typical FP&A responsibilities of budgeting, forecasting, and performing variance analysis, you will partner closely with different cross-functional teams daily to help us make high-impact business decisions and iterate on our business model. The successful candidate for this position will report directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Update, maintain and improve Tile Corporate Financial Model, including all three financial statements (IS, BS, CF).
• Drive monthly forecast and reporting and quarter-end close activities
• Responsible for approving and monitoring purchase orders and month-end accruals
• Actively manage groups expenses by providing fact-based management reporting and analysis of actuals and forecast inputs
• Influence timely and optimal decisions to align with financial targets
• Facilitate resource planning priorities and proactively help manage spending/investment drivers and funding trade-offs
• Create dashboards to analyze data and track key performance metrics for various stakeholders
• Recommend and implement process improvements
• Work closely and collaboratively with Life360’s parent company providing consolidated reports, board presentations and analyst request of Tile’s financial performance

Requirements

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to gather and evaluate information and formulate conclusions
• Successful candidate should have a “roll up the sleeves” attitude, as well as be able to effectively interact with Senior Vice Presidents leading these organizations
• Ability to gather and evaluate information and formulate conclusions
• Ability to work on own initiative
• BS degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance
• 3-4 years of experience in FP&A, headcount and expenses forecast and reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and ability to quickly learn new financial applications and systems
• Prior experience with NetSuite, Planful or Adaptive Insights a plus
• Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects
• Good understanding of SaaS and hardware business models
• Understanding of GAAP (e.g. basic revenue recognition rules, company capitalization policies and proper expense timing)
