What you will do:
- Produce education content that supports independent creators in their professional and personal development.
- Build and manage strategic education partnerships to deliver world-class learning and development opportunities for creators, including producing partner content and event activations.
- Design and implement new education programs for emerging creators and creators of color.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate creator development opportunities into Patreon events and experiences.
- Develop and manage social impact programs to support and nurture upcoming generations of creators.
Skills and experience you possess:
- 5+ years of experience in education and community programs
- Program design and implementation: Responsibility for developing and delivering education programs, including fellowships, mentorships, and workshops, in a product-centric company.
- Curriculum and content production: Hands on experience designing curriculum and producing educational content in a range of formats.
- Strategic partner management : Responsibility for building and executing brand-level partnerships, including producing partner programs, content, and activations.
- Event production : Production of events and experiences that enable participants to learn with and from one another.
- Cross-functional partnership: Strong relationships and execution with internal stakeholders across marketing, communications, and product.
- DE&I and social impact: Experience designing and delivering social impact programs, and integrating DE&I in program strategy and implementation.
- Project management: Responsibility for managing multiple work streams and partner, vendor, and contractor relationships.
- Superfan of creator and internet culture: Extensive knowledge of creators’ needs is a necessity. Direct experience as a creator is a plus.
Projects you may work on:
- Building and launching marquee education partnerships.
- Designing and building new creator development programs and content franchises.
- Facilitating creators’ ability to learn with and from one another and Patreon.
- Developing and implementing an education events and experiences strategy.
