Job Description

The Director of EMEA Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of a region-wide marketing strategy, plan, and program that delivers the volume and quality of pipeline contribution required to achieve the company’s overall business objectives for the EMEA region. This role is focused on driving brand, demand, pull through, and customer advocacy to grow FloQast in key EMEA regions including the UK, Nordics, DACH, and other markets throughout the region. This role will develop and execute a region-wide marketing strategy and programs that target both prospects and customers to increase customer acquisition, support pipeline growth, and impact revenue. The role will be responsible for managing and developing the EMEA regional marketing team charged with brand development, region-wide thought leadership, public relations, demand generation, and customer advocacy. The role reports directly to the CMO with a dotted line to the Managing Director of the EMEA Region. The role will require a close working relationship and partnership with the regional sales and partner team leads, global marketing team, and other regional managers and vendors to identify, prioritize, and close gaps in performance while proactively exploiting new growth opportunities as they arise. The role will be based in London, England; however, the position can be remote.

What You'll Do:

    • Become a key member of the regional leadership team, and support regional business goals and initiatives as they develop
    • Have a solid understanding of the modern customer buying journey with the ability to develop buying cycle aligned content and strategies to increase demand engagement
    • Experience working with global marketing functions and extending corporate programs across the region with last-mile execution and optimization accounting for regional and local differences.
    • Experience in managing and achieving Demand Generation (volume and quality) targets to deliver EMEA revenue growth, with a primary focus on key markets including UKI, DACH, and Nordics to to begin with.
    • Experience in opening new regional markets and building strong marketing functions from the ground up
    • Able to measure and optimize performance across marketing channels; as well as drive cross-functional engagement with regional sales, partner, service teams and global marketing functions
    • Manage analysis and reporting of marketing program performance vs. KPIs
    • Define appropriate marketing channel mix and specific targets for database expansion, demand generation in meeting marketing pipeline contribution goals
    • Align with EMEA sales and other regional stakeholders to define and validate marketing initiatives and programs
    • Track and monitor marketing spend vs plan and provide updated forecasts each month
    • Contribute to annual and quarterly global marketing planning process. Amplify local customer insights through case studies, customer advisory boards, and sourcing for PR.
    • Provide input to global communication, digital, and social media campaign strategies (targeting, content, etc)
    • Support GTM and other product launch initiatives by building awareness and engagement across Regional sales, partner, service, and support teams
    • Plan, manage and execute events in the region, including seminars, executive dinners, account-based activities, email campaigns, webinars, and FloQast 3rd party events
    • Provide localization of marketing materials and tools for specific markets and campaign optimization

What You'll Bring:

    • 4-year degree or equivalency
    • 10+ years experience in marketing
    • Accounting background and experience a plus, but not required
    • Demonstrated background in adopting and implementing global campaigns at a regional level, with a track record of exceptional achievement in regional marketing for SaaS-based B2B companies
    • Demonstrated success in managing global-regional demand generation programs using a metrics-driven approach and a mindset of continuous optimization
    • Proven ability to create successful content and campaign materials beyond product collaterals
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing (PPC, SEO, email, social) fundamentals
    • Experience managing and developing a team of direct reports
    • Ability to travel 35%, primarily within Europe (UKI, Nordics, DACH, Southern EMEA and the Middle East)
    • Fluent in written and spoken English with French, German, or Spanish, considered a plus
    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools and with Hubspot or other marketing automation tools is highly preferred.
