Here's where you come in:
We are currently seeking a talented Content Strategy & Copy Writer for our San Franciso-Oakland office. This is a Hybrid position, so the selected hire will need to travel into a local office a few days a week.
Develops brand standards for emerging channels and maintains relevance of existing brand standards. Manages maintenance of resources and tools deployed by the Brand team. Partners with Agency to monitor USAA and competitive brand equity. Maintains brand alignment with internal partners. Develops and implements effective Brand training across the enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitors brand and leads day-to-day governance/compliance activities, including reviewing and responding to comments on new and existing channels of engagement for the Brand Strategy group (Ink, EJS Comments, Courtyard, Brand Review emails, etc.)
  • Conducts triage of inquiries and requests for approval of branded materials.
  • Reviews moderately complex reviews of branded materials under limited supervision
  • Administers the budget for brand activation and management.
  • Serves as project management resource for marketing and brand strategy team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree. (8 yrs total experience in lieu of a degree)
  • 4 or more years of brand, communications, and or marketing or related experience and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects required.
  • Proficient knowledge of the function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products required.
  • Proficient level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Clearly articulate and communicate the Noblr brand story.
  • Ability to work in collaborative environments with a passion for problem solving.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Product Teams to further develop the brand, product and user journey.
  • Ability to perform effectively across a range of levels from hands-on daily tasks to planning for growth and thinking about the bigger picture.
  • Create and maintain editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks, tone of voice and content style guides.
  • Develop a content strategy based on business objectives and customer needs, including planning and executing content calendar.
  • Gather key business and user insights and apply to the evolution of the content strategy.
  • Managing social media community in collaboration with customer service team.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $88,200 - $158,900.00.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

*Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.

Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
