We’re looking for an experienced SMB Growth Marketing Manager to join the team to help us reach our next stages of growth in to the small and medium business market. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across paid media channels for growth and scale. You will operate at the intersection of media strategy, creative strategy, tools and platform innovation, and performance analytics.

What you'll do:

    • Planning - develop marketing and paid media strategies and plans to meet the SMB business and growth objectives for Bolt, including budget management, channel selection, bidding strategies, keyword strategies and audience strategies
    • Managing - manage the agency and vendor relationships with our media agency and with the media publishers and manage the process for how performance media campaigns are executed across the business
    • Measuring - establish a robust SMB full-funnel, cross-channel measurement and reporting framework for individual campaigns and across campaigns with an attribution model and testing strategies built to enhance our understanding of customers needs and drive increased business performance
    • Optimizing - proactively drive SMB funnel management and optimize performance media plans across all levers including campaign, geography, target audience, and bidding strategy to deliver upon the business metrics and improve ROAS - LTV/CAC
    • Innovating - ensure that Bolt is operating at the forefront of the available capabilities in the market for performance media - pilot and test new media opportunities, stay informed about emerging techniques and technologies, research and understand market trends and media trends to inform strategy and execution
    • Partnering - partner internally with SEO, creative teams, marketing operations, digital and integrated marketing, web and product marketing to deliver performance media campaigns and connect them within delightful end to end customer journeys and experiences. Partner externally and own marketing relationships with key technology partners to build co-marketing strategies to achieve joint growth goals

Who you are:

    • 5-7 years of professional experience building highly performant and optimized full-funnel marketing and media campaigns
    • Expert understanding of performance media channels, techniques and technologies
    • Experience working directly with analytics tools
    • Experience working directly with bidding and ad management tools
    • Experience working with a global, distributed team on global marketing efforts and campaign localization
    • Experience managing and optimizing a self-serve, direct to consumer marketing funnel
    • Deeply analytical with experience building experimentation and optimization strategies across multiple campaigns and channels across the marketing lifecycle, and with the ability to drive decisions and optimizations through data
    • Attention to detail with an organizational ability to maintain focus on quality while delivering multiple projects and meeting deadlines
    • A strategic thinker and independent worker with strong project management skills and a laser attention to detail
    • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with departments, influencing without direct authority, and building strong relationships across teams
    • A creative thinker who can ideate with marketing teams while also being able to talk and execute practical and analytical details with agencies, publishers and analysts
    • A strong desire to practice a Conscious Culture

Nice to haves:

    • Fintech or ECommerce DTC experience is a bonus but not required
    • Experience marketing to Small and Medium Decision Makers and Influencers
