The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for integration engineering between Iterable and Bolt’s martech stack. This position will serve a critical role in working with the email and lifecycle team to ensure campaigns run smoothly and capture/pass the required data. This role will be responsible for launching campaigns on time, managing the QA process, coordinating across multiple stakeholders and assisting in the monitoring of key marketing performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

    • Campaign management - own and manage the tactical execution of campaigns including email, SMS, etc
    • Marketing automation development and execution; segmentation, testing, deployment and optimization
    • Serve as our Iterable platform expert and administrator
    • Take initiative to troubleshoot errors and assess/initiate improvements to the execution process
    • Manage our database activities including data cleansing/list uploads, and reconcile any data issues

Key Requirements:

    • Self directed learner who performs well in a fast paced environment
    • Project management experience with an exceptional ability to interface amongst multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to clearly communicate complicated processes to stakeholders
    • Understanding of APIs, webhooks, custom events and marketing automation technology
    • Campaign optimization experience - A/B testing, etc
    • Strict attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot various issues, integrations, inefficiencies and more

Qualifications

    • 4+ years work experience in a B2C operational/marketing automation environment
    • Basic understanding of email marketing best practices
    • Ability to define and improve operational processes
    • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Flexibility to accommodate emerging responsibilities and last-minute changes; ability to push back as required
    • Demonstrated experience working with multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, web display ads, marketing content, etc
    • Self motivated with an ability to remain focused with little to no supervision
    • Extensive experience using CRM tools (e.g. Braze, Iterable, or equivalent) to build, monitor, and optimize complex email and app-based campaigns and experiments

Nice to Have:

    • Experience in enterprise B2C marketing
    • Basic understanding of HTML
    • Experience using project management and issue tracking tools (Asana, Basecamp, JIRA, Trello, etc.)
