Product Design and Research at Momentive is all about getting to the heart of customer needs while fulfilling our mission to power the curious. We're here to bring better design to the business world, and while we're at it we'd like to make our mark with stunning data viz, personable interfaces, and a commitment to empathizing with our users. We work in five offices across the globe (plus home offices for now), where we work with our counterparts in Product Management, Marketing and Engineering. What we're looking for

We're looking for Product Designers who are curious about data and passionate about building customer-centered products that delight. This is an opportunity to apply your design craft and thinking toward products that give individuals a voice and create actionable insights from data. You will sit on one of the Surveys, Growth, Market Research, or GetFeedback design teams.

You will

  • Craft interfaces and interactions for web-based applications that delight our customers
  • Discover and evaluate ideas through customer research, and use quantitative & qualitative data to inform your work. You'll be conducting customer interviews and usability studies, interpreting usage analytics, and more in tandem with your research partners.
  • Work closely with other designers, Product, Engineering, Research, Content Strategy, and other cross-functional peers to solve customer problems

You have

  • At least one year of relevant industry experience. Background in user experience design, interaction design, graphic design, human factors engineering, or related fields.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your passion for simple, intuitive, and beautiful user-centered designs. Work examples should showcase your visual and interaction design skills, and demonstrate design thinking from problem to ideation to solution.
  • Excellence in communicating your designs, approach, and rationale for design decisions to stakeholders. A hunger for receiving and seeking out feedback from both fellow designers and cross-functional peers & leadership.
  • Experience working with design systems a plus
  • Proficiency with Figma (or similar design authoring tools). Curiosity for and desire to learn new tools and technologies to incorporate into or inform your work. Knowledge of HTML & CSS is a plus.
