Site Reliability Engineer - Staff Remote As the Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Minted, you will have the opportunity to drive the transformation of our infrastructure and take continuous delivery to the next level. Our team maintains and scales the cloud infrastructure for our rapidly growing e-commerce marketplace. You will be working closely with the architects and principal engineers at Minted to develop and deploy secure, highly available, and scalable web services. You Will:

• Identify and form Minted platform vision, architecture and practices
• Develop solutions that enable Minted engineers to access infrastructure utilizing security best practices without causing extra friction
• Drive adoption, educate and motivate a team of engineers on DevOps best practices and standards
• Share knowledge of technology in an AWS cloud ecosystem with containerization platforms like Kubernetes and Docker
• Build tools for testing, automation, and security and teach the engineering team how to utilize them

• Comfortable developing and maintaining tooling to improve Minted’s infrastructure and engineering workflows
• Excited about new technologies and pioneering new frameworks when relevant

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a Linux or similar operations environment (leadership experience preferred)
• Strong programming and scripting experience in multiple languages such as Python, Javascript, Bash, Perl, etc.
• Willingness to cross over into the app stack - we don’t believe in silos
• Experience with configuration management - the particular system is not important, but we use Terraform
• Ability to lead the design and implementation of system-level components that involves a team of engineers
• Extensive experience with in cloud services, such as AWS and GCP
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, JenkinsExperience managing credentials and secrets at runtime environment (AWS Secrets Manager, Vault)
• Experience in Kubernetes and its associated tools (Helm, Docker)
