Manager, Digital Marketing

Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join the OpenTable Marketing team. You will be responsible for a focused, committed and dedicated team, in charge of running and expanding our SEM campaigns.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, you are excited to bring measurable performance gains to a full funnel marketing team for a two-sided marketplace. You love finding opportunities for growth, managing a team, getting into the details, working collaboratively across a global organization, and building platform capabilities within digital marketing.

We anticipate this role expanding to leading projects across more channels including, but not limited to, Display, Video and Social as our channel sophistication grows.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for managing a globally distributed, committed and dedicated team.
• Determine key landmarks within our SEM strategy and implement daily against ambitious spend and return on investment targets.
• Ensure overall success by expanding our campaign reach, establishing best practices, and conducting controlled tests on our content and targeting.
• Collaborate with internal brand teams to roll out best-in-class creative practices.
• Lead projects with our cross-brand marketing teams to increase our bidding efficiency.
• Work with our analytical resources to define, scope and rollout changes to revenue recognition - for example experimenting with various attribution and LTV models.
• Keep in front of industry and paid media trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry events.
• Work with Marketing leadership to establish realistic and challenging goals.

Desired experience and skills:

• Significant experience in digital marketing role(s), ideally at least 4 years in-house SEM.
• Previous people management experience
• Data retrieval and Insight generation skills using Python, Vertica and SQL
• Strong background in marketing strategy and content automation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Business Development experience.
• Management consulting skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in English.
