Thoughtful customer-centered design is central to our mission to put the world's 1.5 billion cars to better use. Our Risk and Protection team designs products that deliver a world-class user experience while utilizing the power of our data to manage financial risk for Turo.

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Risk and Protection team, you will drive the user experience vision and execution for product features that provide easy and hassle-free tools to resolve any issues that may come up before, during, and after their trip. Some of the product surfaces you might work on include the claims management dashboard, protection plan adoption, and other growth experiments. You'll work with other accomplished designers, UX researchers, product managers, engineers, and data analysts who are equally passionate about shipping outstanding experiences that solve challenging problems in elegant ways. You'll report to our Risk and Protection team Senior Director of Product Design.

What you'll do

• Work with PMs, engineers, and other disciplines to solve interesting problems such as helping hosts manage their claims and helping guests find the right protection plan while growing Turo’s revenue.
• Own the user experience for your projects end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design workshops, and creating visions
• Create, and refine IA, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals across iOS, Android, and Web.
• Work cross-functionally to implement your designs
• Be a bar-raiser by collaborating with our design systems team and contributing to our shared design libraries.
