This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Collins Aerospace Repair Management Services team. Repair Management Services is experiencing rapid growth, with a continually expanding customer base for time & material and flight hour overhaul & repair programs. We are seeking a Customer Account Specialist to be the focal point for ensuring customer satisfaction for units repaired within the supplier network. The Account Specialist will work closely with the Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Technical teams to drive customer service levels and act as the owner for all issues the customer may experience during the process.

The focus of this position will be both tactical and strategic with primary focus on the control of components input into the Repair Management Services vendor portfolio. It is expected that you will use the ACE tools and be proficient in communications and data analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive key operational performance requirements for Repair Management Services customers including both airline and engine overhaul centers
  • Consistent, complete and accurate communication of account information and delivery commitments to customers and supporting organizations
  • Support accurate order entry/induction of customer orders into SAP
  • Manage customer units upon receipt in facility for same-day shipment to supplier and/or allocation into hospital/quarantine area
  • Follow up on all customer requests in a timely and effective manner
  • Track and measure the performance results. Provide and present quarterly progress reports and business reviews to customers and Fleet Managers as required
  • Coordinate between Supplier Team and Fleet Management to enable successful delivery performance and ensure 'one voice' to the customer
  • Work with Fleet Management to prioritize critical customer needs and identify issues that will impact them
  • Continually develop process improvement initiatives based upon review of on-going operations
  • Generate and manage sales orders in SAP including account financials in accordance with contractual obligations
  • AOG support and availability during off business hours as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in technical sales, marketing, or customer service
  • Experience with customer focus and influence ability, contract management and execution including financial compliance
