Project Manager, Online Membership

Teachable is on a mission to enable the transformative power of knowledge in our world. Our online platform enables individuals and small businesses (our “Creators”) to build, host and sell online courses and coaching. (Examples of our Creators and their offerings can be found here , here and here .) We generate revenue in two ways: (1) from monthly or annual subscription fees (SaaS) paid to us by our Creators for access to the platform; and (2) from transaction fees calculated as a percent of the value of courses and services sold by Creators through our platform. We currently support over 40,000 Creators who have collectively sold over $1 billion in courses and coaching on Teachable. The Teachable Education team is looking for an experienced Project Manager that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to oversee the launch and build out of a new online membership for entrepreneurs. In this role, you will get to work directly with seasoned creators (who will be collaborating on various content and joint venture marketing partnerships), as well as help manage the development and launch of the membership as a whole. Your involvement will include everything from managing logistics and timelines, to overseeing the marketing and production process. Reporting to our Education lead, this is an exciting opportunity to work directly with creators and freelancers powering the Creator Economy and join a new team at Teachable.

What You'll Do:

• Work with the Education lead to execute the marketing roll-out and launch plan
• Update contract templates and send to creators and freelancers
• Project Manage all tasks and deliverables needed to launch the membership
• Work with Teachable’s finance team to ensure smooth and timely payment of contractors, freelances, affiliates, other vendors, and also monitor project budgets
• Oversee a team of freelancers (including copywriters, designers, developers, videographers, and virtual assistants)
• Review marketing assets with the Education lead and communicate feedback to relevant freelancers
• Be the central point of contact for the new content contributors

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of project management experience
• 2+ years working with multiple stakeholders or freelancers
• Experience managing multiple fast-paced projects with various clients simultaneously
• Experience launching online or digital products is a plus
• Familiarity of the Creator Economy or online creators not essential but helpful
