The Senior Manager manages the execution of Quality Assurance objectives for the products and processes within the Boeing value stream.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Function as a liaison between the customer and Collins Aerospace to address quality concerns.

• Lead a team of Program Quality professionals.

• Use customer/internal metrics and ZDPTM methodology to create, lead, and/or implement improvements that drive customer satisfaction.

• Participate with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to drive resolution of quality issues which may impact product performance and/or delivery results.

• Lead investigations to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, contractual, customer and business requirements.

• Develop and implement containment, root cause and corrective actions (product and systemic).

• Prepare presentation material for internal reviews (cadence reviews, Escape Review Board, Corrective Action Board, etc.) and external reviews (Program Reviews, investigation statuses, etc.).

• Provide interpretation of complex requirements. Drive resolution of conflicts and clarification in requirement flow-down.

• Communicate improvement plans and progress to the organization and customers.

• Support the incorporation of AS9145 to the EACS (Environmental Air & Control Systems) Business Unit.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
  • Must be willing to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading sites and teams to improve quality performance
  • Strong background with Quality tools and processes (e.g. Core/Lean/Six Sigma Tools, RCCA, PFMEA, SPC, DMAIC, DIVE, 8D, Gage R&R, VSM, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Energetic, ability to work independently
  • Excels in a dynamic work environment and capable of multi-tasking
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Core, and GEMBA
  • Analytics and problem-solving experience
  • Auditing experience (e.g. AS9100, ISO9100)
  • Experienced using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
