Description:Early career Financial Analysts supporting S&GS Advance Programs area. This area is unique due to the smaller size of contracts and multiple types of contracts. This provides valuable exposure to all aspects of program finance/cost control responsibilities on programs advancing technology boundaries. This position provides exposure and interaction with program and financial executive leadership.
Manage the financial performance of various contracts with daily interaction with program managers, engineers and other financial functions. Activities include: prepare and analyze periodic monthly program financial status, develop contract budgets, estimate to complete, funding analysis, variance analysis to ensure program's meet their financial commitments. Coordinate with contract management employees to facilitate the award of new contracts and with Accounting to set up new contracts in the systems, monitor cash flow and prepare profit analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Skills:
Moderate to Advanced Excel
Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance
Motivated to learn a diverse skill set and then teach others
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of LM MFC business processes and tools
