What You'll Do

Be part of the Legal Technology Solutions (LTS) team in the Legal Operations Department that enables simplified experiences by delivering user request-driven, innovative, connected, and scalable technology solutions for the Legal Department.

As a Business Analyst, you will be a strong player in performing a centralized innovative legal technology roadmap. You have substantial experience designing and implementing innovative solutions to simplify, modernize, automate, and enhance existing legal requirements and satisfy future needs. You will also support portfolio management with the goal of continuous improvement and empower our legal partners with well-rounded and proactive insights, all through best-in-class service.

You will work and partner with team members inside the Legal Department and the broader Cisco business to help implement solutions that help drive Cisco's new business initiatives and continuously improve the legal support for those efforts.

Who You'll Work With

Engage with the Legal, IT, Supply Chain, Channels, Sales, and other Cisco business functions to implement the key technology initiatives and outcomes for the Legal Department. You will collaborate with a team of business analysts and project managers to define business requirements, provide effective solution development, conduct and manage testing, roll-out, and normalization, and partner with Legal and business customers to drive adoption of new capabilities.

You have a passion for enabling innovative and user-friendly tech solutions to meet our customer's needs, a desire to gain exposure to all aspects of a successful legal technology portfolio, and a willingness to drive focused execution on continuous improvement cycles.

The Primary Responsibilities for this role:
  • Manage customer involvement for tool and legal platform design, testing, and program roll-out

. Conduct business process analysis, scope assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits/gap analyses for business initiatives.

. Highly experienced in identifying policy violations, analyzing, and proposing risk mitigating design solutions.

. Ability to translate work processes into precise business requirements, epics, and user stories.

. Successfully plan, implement, test, and enable new features or enhancements for new or existing applications.

. Serve as a liaison between the business, cross-functional teams, and IT to provide technical and business solutions that meet user needs.

. Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to worldwide business teams.

. Ability to efficiently handle work that crosses across inter-related business teams and tools.

. Ability to access data from repositories using SQL queries to analyze large datasets and determine trends, opportunities, alarming issues, and hidden patterns. Experience building Tableau dashboards as needed.

Desired skills:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of program management experience in a professional business setting.
  • Experience in the technology industry or legal, sales or financial control environments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and comfort with executive-level engagements.
  • Ability to write cohesively and concisely.
  • Technical proficiency in recognized tools and necessary analytical programs.
  • Awareness of cross-cultural and diverse geographic business protocols.
  • Demonstrable ability to reconcile conflicts, analyze business operations, and help define action plans to address identified risks and areas of improvement.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task, with attention to prioritization and execution to closure.
  • Ability to work independently but collaboratively, with a high energy, versatile and fun team of professionals.
Minimum Qualifications

Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

8-10 years relevant experience in running and performing technology projects in the Legal, business process re-engineering, and architecting cross-functional solution design

Excellent knowledge of Cisco's technology ecosystem and legal and compliance processes is strongly desired
