The Team
Our marketing team creates world-class content and data-driven marketing campaigns that reach more customers and help them understand the potential impact DocuSign can have on their business. This Position
The Marketing Director – Asia will be a key member of the international marketing responsible for helping to drive sustainable and consistent revenue growth. The Director will drive go-to-market planning and execution for DocuSign’s marketing programs across the Asia Pacific region to grow awareness, capture demand and accelerate pipeline. The successful individual will have a solid understanding of the SaaS market with strong analytic and execution skills to deliver high business growth and successful business outcomes. This is a high impact role that combines strategy, leadership, project management, creative thinking, demand generation and execution. Developing, mentoring, and hiring talent into the Asia Marketing team is key to ensuring success over the long term.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the APJ Senior Director of Marketing based in Melbourne and is designated flex.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Marketing will work closely with DocuSign sales, channel, field marketing, demand generation, partner marketing, and product management to most effectively market the company’s solutions across all market segments. S/he will manage multiple projects at once including demand generation, customer communications, sales enablement, and pipeline reporting and analysis. This individual must be well organized, proactive, and willing to jump on new projects at any time.
• Define annual marketing plan for the Asia region using data-driven analysis. The marketing plan will include defining key priorities and strategies for growing the pipeline to support sustainable business growth.
• Key tactics include demand generation, 1^st/3^rd- party events, webinars, digital marketing, PR and content marketing programs.
• Collaborate closely with business development teams to ensure success of marketing programs.
• Track and deeply analyse industry trends and competitor efforts to extend the company’s leadership position.
• Demonstrate leadership to positively influence cross functional teams and nurture an understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the Asia market.
• Develop thought leadership, customer and product content that can be leveraged in demand generation programs.
• Ensure close alignment with the Global Demand Centre to localise relevant programs for the Asia Market.
• Analyse complex data sets throughout the funnel, able to isolate and prioritise areas for development.
• Source and manage local vendors for program execution.
• Join with a forward- looking view to build and lead a diverse team of marketers to achieve strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience managing teams across multiple countries and languages
• 10 + years of high-tech marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role
• 3 - 5 years of people and/or team management
• University degree qualified

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong leadership, strategy, and execution skills with demonstrated track record of career advancement and success in disruptive technology markets, large and start-up companies/divisions.
• People management experience and building scaling high performance teams.
• A strong mix of analytical and creative skills.
• Experience marketing technical solutions to specific industry verticals, with multi-channel distribution efforts.
• Experience successfully managing cross functional stakeholder relationships at all levels of an organization, with industry associations, partners, customers, and the public.
• Excellent organizational, presentation and writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of salesforce.com CRM and marketing automation technology
• 3 - 5 year’s event management experience is preferred
• 20%+ Travel required
