Job Description

We're looking for a senior-level Social Ads specialist to drive our advertising strategy, implementation and reporting. You will manage the daily product advertising and performance marketing needs of Tuft & Needle and other brands. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing, creative, and data science teams to drive success and scale in our social advertising efforts. The ideal person for this role is someone who is creative, data-driven and detail-oriented, and can collaborate well as part of a larger multi-functional team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee implementation of strategy for paid social media channels(ie. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) across multiple brands
    • Accountable for managing and optimizing budgets, trafficking ad campaigns, as well as achieving target KPIs across channels
    • Explore opportunities within additional channels like SnapChat, Quora, Reddit, and others
    • Perform daily analysis and optimization on campaign performance; prepare and deliver performance reports identifying successes and opportunities for improvement
    • Actively test and analyze audiences, advertising creative, multimedia, site pages, landing pages and placement to drive results in line with business goals and objectives
    • Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive paid media strategies that speak to users where they are in their journey on social channels; ranges from new customer acquisition to retention
    • Lead and assist in coaching, managing, and educating dedicated team members, helping to support campaign management and optimization
    • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to generate advertising assets including video, graphics, ad copy, and landing pages
    • Maintain active relationships with Facebook + Google account representatives
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, focusing on how these changes can be leveraged to drive material account improvements

Requirements

    • A logical but creative mindset, being able to take the company’s objectives and identify campaign strategy through research and analysis(i.e.: recommending appropriate keywords, targeting, interests, and more)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with vigilance, accuracy and attention to detail
    • The ability to perform daily account management and optimization of various ad-sets on our account
    • Strong math and analysis skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong understanding of statistical methods and analysis such as probability distributions, regression analysis, correlation, causation, variance, etc.
    • Strong proficiency in Excel
    • Ability to develop compelling ad copy that finds all the customers and sells all the things
    • Naturally empathetic, pragmatic and exudes adaptability, positive attitude and hunger for learning
    • Proficiency in Google Analytics
    • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (v-lookup, analysis, modeling)
    • Ability to quickly pick up new Ad Platforms and desire to expand your skill set
    • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in a client-facing role

Education & Experience

    • A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, information systems, statistics, economics, computer science, and/or behavioral economics is a plus
    • 5+ years of experience and/or excellent skills with Facebook Ads
    • Experience analyzing and generating reporting for major metrics, goal tracking, revenue tracking, and more
    • Experience managing monthly ad spend of $500K+ or more
    • Experience and Knowledge in improving ROAS and CPA
