Who Are You?

You have great business acumen, a natural curiosity, talent in building relationships, and limitless creative energy. Maybe you’re an experienced business development professional who has successfully delivered technology and service partnerships. Or you are someone who has demonstrated analytical success in management consulting or other similar industry and are ready to forge a new path. If partnerships are new to you, we’d expect meaningful client/partner management experience in your current field.

Position Overview

The restaurant technology market is incredibly hot right now. With two very strong IPOs (Toast and Olo), there’s never been a better time to be in the industry. It’s dynamic and fast moving and Thanx wants to accelerate our integrations and develop deep relationships with service providers and industry experts.

You will lead the charge on evaluating new partnerships, collaborating closely with the product org, and ensuring that we are both solving customer needs and creating opportunities for Thanx to grow our revenue. You will also manage our existing partnerships and work with marketing on co-marketing and pipeline generation strategies.

The Partnership Manager will report into our Chief Revenue Officer. We have offices in San Francisco, Denver, and Toronto but are hiring for 100% remote roles at all levels; this job can be based anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities:

  • Become expert on the restaurant technology ecosystem
  • Engage new partnerships and create strategic partnerships plans
  • Collaborate with product on resource requirements and make recommendations on partnership priorities
  • Manage existing partner relationships to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with marketing on co-marketing opportunities
  • Assist sales with deals involving our partners

We’re not big on the “requirements” section. But it’s likely that you have previous experience meeting or exceeding quota. If you have knocked it out of the park as a BDR and are ready to be quota carrying, we’d love to hear from you!
