The Product Line Manager’s (PLM) primary responsibility is to be the interface of Program Management to Operations. The PLM works cross-functionally, within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) comprised of focals from Operations, Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Engineering (Manufacturing, Production and Quality) to execute projects in support of manufacturing and quality improvements. This role coordinates with business stakeholders in operations and program management to ensure successful delivery of products in alignment to factory capacity and master production schedule (MPS). The PLM leads root cause and corrective action of issues impacting quality of the Product Line. The PLM also supports Operations leadership in timely issue resolution of manufacturing flow inhibitors. Finally, the PLM supports development & execution of strategic plans related to product roadmap and new technology insertion.

This role is required to be on site as this is an Operations facing role. Remote work is allowed on a case-by-case basis with leader.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead for the Product Line, providing ongoing project management support to ensure successful product delivery in alignment with MPS
  • Lead mitigation of product risks & flow inhibitors
  • Lead corrective actions to improve product quality, cell uptime and efficiency, and design manufacturability
  • Lead projects to address material obsolescence and new material qualification
  • Coordinate with Operations Project Managers to create project plans for New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Build strong relationships with functional team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Program Management or Project Management role required
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to strategically organize and complete projects, tasks and business objectives, independently
  • Experienced in process improvements
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and written at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Experienced in leading cross functional teams, with strong interpersonal skills and team attitude, with an ability to motivate
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and working mastery of SAP, MS Project/Excel
