WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join our team in the Plymouth, MN location. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our EP Supply Chain and Facilities organizations. You will assist in the reporting and forecasting of the purchase price variance, tariffs, and duties for five EP manufacturing sites. You will also be supporting the EP Supply Chain and Facilities Leadership team by providing month-end reporting and analysis, updates for each budget cycle, and any ad hoc analysis requested from leadership. You will have an intimate understanding of the activity and be able to speak knowledgably when answering questions from the EP Supply Chains Director. In addition to the operations results, you will also assist in the reporting and analytical analysis for the EP Division Margin Improvement (DMI), preparing financial presentation content for executive meetings, participate in various projects or tasks, assist with monthly financial closing activities, as well as preparing financial models, and presentations supporting the quarterly LBE (latest best estimate) forecasting cycles.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and forecasting, preparing financial models, Purchase Price Variance, Taxes/Duties, Division Margin Improvement.
  • Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management
  • Provides routine reports to leadership
  • Partners with supply chain to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the PPV for financial close cycle
  • Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team
  • Prepares consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis
  • Complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees and business customers
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and/or financial modeling
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience working with financial system applications
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Preferred

  • Advanced level degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • Medical device experience
  • Previous experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Tableau, Dodeca, and/or SAP
