In this role, you’ll be responsib le for contributing to and activating on the strategy that expresses the voice, heart and soul of the Hudl brand. You’ll play an integral part in creating positive, inspiring thoughts in the minds of prospects, current customers, and existing and future employees. This role will manage the execution of brand initiatives including advocacy campaigns, in-person and digital events, thought leadership programs, cross-market advertising campaigns, and talent recruitment marketing. By combining user insights, strategic thinking, beautiful design and creative storytelling, this role will work within the Hudl brand team to create a wide range of work that drives Hudl’s reputation for making every moment count. You’ll wear your marketing hat one day and your creative hat the next to bring it all to life. You’re the right person for this role if you’re data-driven enough to align to KPIs from business units across the globe while thoughtful enough to translate Hudl’s core values into our public position on relevant current events.

The Brand Marketing Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director - Brand & Creative and work closely on initiatives that keep our portfolio of products and services (including everything from product naming to identity creation) aligned with the overarching brand strategy. To do this, you’ll collaborate not only with partners on the brand and marketing teams, but cross-functionally with various disciplines, including Product, Sales & Customer Success, Support, Talent & People, as well as leaders across the organization both locally and globally to bring this reputation to life.

Hudl has a flexible location policy. This position is available in Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE or Boston, MA where we have Hudl Offices or this position is also offered remotely within the U.S.

  • Left- and right-brained . You're highly creative, but use data to make informed choices. You love to visualize how parts and pieces fit together and can connect the dots for others.
  • Interested in social and digital marketing trends . You’re someone who can get into the weeds on effective digital marketing. You stay up to speed on the latest digital trends and know-how to flex your marketing strategies across multiple mediums, channels, and audiences.
  • User-focused . You grasp the emotional and rational reasons for which customers buy products, services and solutions, and can position and convey the value of Hudl based on that understanding. This also applies to talent acquisition for Hudl.
  • A big-picture thinker . You like to be well-versed on every single one of your company's current products and services, short and long-term roadmaps, and strategies for winning each market–allowing you to connect dots, make healthy marketing decisions and thread the needle between overlapping initiatives.
  • Data-Driven. You subscribe to the idea that “it’s only creative if it works” and constantly look for quantitative avenues to build business cases and track results.

You will

  • Maintain and expand on our brand foundations. You'll tackle initiatives that focus on expanding the Hudl brand to enable global growth while providing brand awareness that supports the efforts of Hudl’s primary business units—all while keeping the execution aligned with the overarching brand strategy. To do this, you’ll constantly stay up to date on our customers and markets by using Hudl’s existing consumer insights, conducting new research when needed, and measuring brand performance metrics.
  • Ignite the brand story and build buzz. We’re bigger than the sum of our parts. It’s important that our brand goes beyond just sports and geographies–it’s about telling the Hudl story, sharing our vision, and proving the impact Hudl has on real people. Whether executing stunts and in-person activations or running digital ad campaigns, you’ll play an integral part in building buzz and bringing the brand to life.
  • Create advocates. You’ll develop frameworks and campaigns that empower our most passionate and valued users to tell their stories and promote our products. Our story is best told through our customers and our people. You’ll ensure that they’re at the center of our brand strategies and we’re leveraging their stories throughout.
  • Be part of a high-performance creative team. Our business changes rapidly and you move as fast as it does, with powerful results and outstanding quality fueled by a creative mindset. You’ll work closely with other creatives (content creators, designers) to build brand campaign materials across multiple mediums.
