Be part of a growing team providing IT and Business Outsourcing Services for Government customers! If you are ambitious, dedicated and motivated by the chance to work with seasoned client personnel in helping them satisfy critical regulatory obligations, then CGI has the perfect opportunity for you as a Business Analyst !
This opportunity is located in Brussels and is a full time position. This is an exciting opportunity to work with CGI’s Emerging Industries group and our industry-leading Utilities product. You will be exposed to diverse project environment and . The role requires working with both business and technology groups and has high upward visibility – reporting directly to the Functional team leader for this initiative.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Conduct research in order to identify the upcoming legislative changes leading to new
business cases and business models/functional requirements updates;
- Enquire, collect and structure, for the benefit of the team, the information related to our daily
activities, coming from various sources (e.g.apps/platforms used by the client, client’s
supplier contracts)
- Drive meetings with the client and multiple stakeholders, including EU Member States (set
the agenda, follow up on actions/risks/issues, deliver precise and high quality meeting
minutes in English to all the parties involved and on time);
- Quality Control: review of deliverables (e.g. User Guides, Business Acceptance Criteria,
Functional Specifications, modelling documents, various planning files and formats);
- Actively monitor and follow up on potential risks/delays/issues/changes and provide advice
to the client;
- Identify business opportunities related to the activities performed for the client, follow up on
these opportunities and support CGI to realize them.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Have a master degree in EU affairs, law or International Economic Relations;
- Working experience in EU/International affairs and EU decision-making processes, specifically around the digital field. Previous working experience with a European Institution is a
must;
- Knowledgeable in project management;
- Familiarity with data structuring which reflect functional requirements (data elements, data
groups in business process models)
- Experienced in writing reports, creating visual dashboards for various target
audiences, drafting annual reports reflecting EU Customs Business achievements at EU
level and Member States;
- Good understanding of translating daily operational activities into contractual
deliverables and new business opportunities;
- Good written and spoken English communication. Good negotiation, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
Genuine curiosity and interest about the translation of EU customs needs into legislative provision/business & functional requirements;
- Awareness of software development
lifecycle. Experience in IT is a plus;
- Ability to identify and prioritise tasks coming from numerous sources of information, in a
dynamic and complex ecosystem;
- Confidence to propose new, creative solutions/business ideas and openness for
constructive feedback;
- Experience with planning management tools (e.g. MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Timelines)
- Natural inclination to perform regular assessments of daily activities in order to
identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency.
- Detail oriented and analytical mindset. The ability to multi-task is crucial;
- Able to deliver as per the timelines agreed with the client and CGI internal teams
- Erasmus exchange or internship in an international setting;
- Able to integrate into an international, multi-cultural environment, remote working
with various teams across the world.
- Someone who is proactive and not reactive.
