What is the opportunity?

The role of a Associate Director within the Sales & Relationship Management team is to provide an integrated wealth management service for suitable High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Clients. You will be identifying their needs and providing valued and trusted advice on an ongoing basis whilst protecting and retaining client & RBC monies.

What will you do?

You will work collaboratively as part of a team yet be responsible for delivering against a performance target by self-originating and bringing onboard new client relationships. You will proactively develop profitable new business opportunities from existing clients for Wealth Management International and the wider RBC organisation. Your segment-aligned team will work together to deliver the team goals set out and collectively you will provide an unrivalled client experience.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Extensive experience within a wealth management role; alternatively we will consider readily transferable skills and a strong network based on industry expertise
  • Proven Relationship Management skills. An ability to understand client needs, the knowledge and communication skills to identify and articulate issues and solutions, the integrity to earn the Client’s trust and the business acumen to recognise mutually beneficial opportunities for the Client and RBC
  • Superior business development skills
  • Registration with the appropriate regulatory body as permitted to give investment advice and an appropriate professional qualification (minimum IAD Level 4)
  • CeMAP (Level 3) in order to discuss UK Regulated Mortgages with Clients
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation – managing internal relationships and influencing partners
