And that's where you come in: Instructure is looking for an innovative Global Channel Marketing Manager. In this role, you will develop channel-specific marketing strategies, plan and execute marketing campaigns, and manage communications to the Instructure partner network (distributors and reseller partners worldwide). Reporting to the Senior Director of APAC Marketing, with a dotted line into the VP of Global Channel Sales, you will be responsible for driving loyalty and supporting profitable sales growth within the Instructure partner network. It is critical that the person in this role be hands-on with a clear bias to action.
Responsibilities
- Develop new regional channel marketing strategies and implement demand generation campaigns, adapting them to the regional needs
- Collaborate with channel partners as well as Instructure sales and marketing teams to develop, deliver, and measure campaigns, promotions, and other activation initiatives to improve our partners’ business and deliver mutual sales growth
- Collaborate with the EMEA, APAC, and LatAm marketing teams; with the global channel sales teams; with regional sales teams; and with other departments
- Build strong relationships and collaborate directly with channel partners to ensure consistent campaign execution to support channel business strategy for the region
- Work with channel partners on external-facing joint-marketing activities including events, thought leadership, content creation, email marketing, webinars, promotion planning, etc.
- Support the channel sales team with marketing activities to drive new channel customer recruitment and development.
- Implement Instructure’s MDF process and take responsibility for budget management for all channel expenditures.
- Process marketing support requests, briefing the content and creative teams on the production of assets
- Take ownership of hosting and delivering regular communications to the channel network, building brand loyalty for Instructure
- Own and manage the functionality, appearance and partner experience on the Instructure Partner Portal, including working with our portal solution provider.
- Perform regular 1:1 marketing meetings with key channel partners to establish quarterly and yearly marketing plans and share with internal business stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in channel marketing at a technology company, SaaS preferred but not required
- Keen understanding of marketing programs, events, promotions, and the development of partner-sourced lead generation/pipeline
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships
- Data-driven, budget-conscious, creative thinkerAble to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in hours
- Experience with project management tools (Asana a plus), partner relationship management tools (Salesforce PRM a plus), and sales & marketing tools like Marketo/Salesforce
