NerdWallet is scaling its sales team, who work with our small business customers as they pursue financing options, and is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead the onboarding, training and development efforts for our sales team.

Where you can make an impact:

  • Spearhead our sales training programs, across core/foundational sales skills, as well as process, product, and pitch education specific to our team.
  • Design and deliver a top-notch onboarding program for new members of the sales team.
  • Develop relationships with the sales organization to continually assess performance gaps, prioritize programs, and close the feedback loop to improve our current efforts.
  • Ensure content is always relevant, current, accessible and effective.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with BD and Product teams to assist with rollout of new initiatives, products, and partners that impact the sales team.
  • Close the loop, assessing our training programs’ effectiveness and reception so that we are consistently improving in line with our broader sales goals.

You have:

  • 3+ years experience in sales enablement, learning & development, sales management or related field.
  • Adept at creating and delivering sales training, whether in a live classroom setting, through e-learnings, knowledge base material, videos or other asynchronous training materials.
  • Ability to partner with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver content
  • Proficiency in project management, in order to see new programs through to completion.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience with lending or other financial products
  • History of working with teams selling to small business owners.
