About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Systems Administrator to join our global IT team, and work with Infrastructure and Security Engineers to guarantee the high availability of IT systems and tools, while complying with regulatory policies. You are enthusiastic about working with Remitly employees while looking for solutions on behalf of the customer, communicate trends to leadership acting on observed areas for improvement, and have lots of fun in the process.

You Will:

• Build and fine-tune Remitly's main IT systems and tools.
• Design alerting and monitor essential performance metrics and operational cost of IT systems
• Provide centralized means to administer Remitly Access Networks of our distributed offices.
• Manage resolution of major incidents related to IT systems.
• Reduce time required to provision and patch IT systems by using automation infrastructure which involves cloud formation techniques.
• Partner with the Security and Compliance teams to enforce strict cross-platform security and audit controls
• You will report to the IT Manager

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience as a systems administrator or similar positions
• Experience with high-level scripting language (PowerShell, Go, JavaScript),
• Built integrations for web applications using REST APIs.
• Managed employee's identity lifecycle using Okta(or other IdP), and MS Active Directory
• Experience with networking principles
• Administered Windows and Linux servers, in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Owned the G-Suite account management at enterprise level
• Worked with other technical teams to document and support business rules, system operating procedures that pertain to the Google platform.
• Great documentation practices
• Experience mentoring fellow team members
