BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Principle Test Engineer in design or development to join the growing Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) organization. The ITE organization’s mission is to deliver customer-focused, affordable test solutions, which are integrated, across all levels of test. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
You will work on resolving issues and change requests to update the test software that are critical to keep our production lines moving. In this role, you will develop test software to support In-Process Testing (IPT), Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) on products ranging from component level to systems level analog, digital and RF units. In addition to leading small teams to assure the program commitments are met. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experienced in C and/or CVI, software build environments and skilled in software debug (test software preferred)
• Takes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature. Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication
• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with Test Software development and /or integration
• Competence in the test development processes from requirements to implementation
• Ability to lead test solution development: Hardware Focus (test adapters, cables, tools, and interface modules) and Software Focus (drivers, utilities, executives, and test software)
• Experienced writing test code to support RF testing
• Experience in systems analysis of test requirements and solution implementations.
• Experienced in using RF test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)
• Experience using NI LabWindows and TestStand
• Experience in factory production test stands, problem isolation and resolution.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and drivers
• Experience leading small teams and or program level test development
• Active US Security Clearance
