Pure Technology Experience Center (PureTEC) is a solutions engineering lab that enables our internal sales teams, partners, solutions architects and customers to have hands-on experiences, test the limits, push the boundaries, and design reference architectures for deploying Pure Storage products.

What You Will Be Doing

• Working with solution architects to create new configurations from scratch
• Automating data center infrastructure deployments (Compute, Networking, Storage, OS)
• Monitoring and alerting the data center infrastructure and services
• Identify and measure key infrastructure performance metrics
• Investigate and remediate system performance issues and failures
• Define best practices for infrastructure deployments

What You Bring To The Team

• 5+ years o f hands-on experience in administration and management of networking, applications, virtualization, op erating systems, servers and storage
• Storage administration - Including FC and iSCSI. NFS and SMB SAN configuration and boot-from-SAN environments
• Infrastructure Deployment and Provisioning and Strong proficiency with (Ansible and Python)
• Strong understanding and experience in Infoblox, DNS, DHCP
• Server hardware administration, bare metal provisioning, hardware component replacements, and firmware updates. etc.,
• Server operating system administration, including initial deployment, user account creation, network setup, disk management, monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning
• VMware vSphere
• Experience in installing and administering Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, RedHat Enterprise LINUX, VMware vSphere 6/7 ESXi, vCenter, VCP required
• ITIL / ITSM
• Monitoring and Observability (Zabbix, Prometheus, and ELK Stack)
• Automating data center infrastructure deployments (Compute, Networking, Storage, OS)
• Working knowledge of Cloud Platform and Technologies (AWS and Azure)

• PAN and F5
