Job Description BAE Systems Air and Space Force Solutions is seeking a Program Manager II for the Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS) Falconer Service Contract. The Falconer Service Contract provides support to multiple data center sites (AOC Facilities), with over 2,000+ users at each site during military contingencies, hundreds of servers, multiple network enclaves, system of systems integration, computing, storage, and support to multiple field sites around the world. This program contains critical skills that align with the government Operational Command and Control strategy. The program manager will oversee daily program operations to include program execution, financial performance, customer engagement, resource management, and quality assurance for all activates performed under the contract. The position is located in Hampton, Virginia, with the best candidate being well prepared to adapt to dynamic remote and virtual team collaboration as well as travel to customer and AOC locations around the globe.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or business discipline and 10 years work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant support to AOC Community
- Knowledge of ACC, AFLCMC, and DET12/Kessel Run customer
- Demonstrated leadership in large programs as a defense contractor
- Demonstrated history identifying, establishing, and developing important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within Air Force community
- Ability to develop and execute business plan consistent with company goals and objectives
- Demonstrated experience managing complex Time and Material contract
- Experience in budget management, key program level economic indicators and drivers
- Experience with execution of geographically disperse sustainment program; cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, quality, and customer engagement; ensuring program commitments are met; having the authority to make clear and timely decisions related to the program
- Experience leading a large program or multiple programs achieving mission outcomes in complex environment
- Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting, identifying necessary software and hardware needs, and developing and implementing the latest security procedures and protocols.
- Promote high customer satisfaction and demonstrate adaptation to changing customer needs as well as introducing innovations, efficiencies, and new capabilities to improve mission performance
- Attract, develop and retain high performing, diverse talent within the business; build future leaders through mentoring and serving as a role model
- Demonstrated history of establishing a positive mission focused culture amongst leaders and employees
- Proven experience with diverse teams, strong coaching and mentoring skills and ability to achieve results through others.
- Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers
- Experience with or knowledge of programmatic challenges and needs for systems integration in the following areas: DevSecOps, Automation, IT and Cloud Transformation, Cyber Security and Agile Software Development.
- An active DoD TS SCI level clearance is required to be considered
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Master’s or Graduate-level degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
- Experience working in Air Force Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and understanding of CAOC processes and procedures in support of execution of the Air Tasking Order(ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO)
