Financial Operations Controls Analyst

Job Description

With the continued growth of our business, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our global Financial Operations team. As the Financial Operations Controls Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to use your strong analytical, attention to detail and reporting skills to help DAZN with growing compliance obligations and reach long-term strategic objectives. You will ensure the finance systems control tools are robust and fit for business through working with wider finance and compliance teams and be able to proactively suggest improvements to streamline processes and controls. You will produce reporting to provide assurance to stakeholders and to meet audit requirements. Your team You’ll be able to work with colleagues based in different locations and enjoy having exposure to new global projects and compliance initiatives. Your line manager will be Senior Financial Operations Controls Specialist and you will work closely with both local and global teams on a daily basis. This role can be based in Katowice.

As our new Financial Operations Controls Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Analyse and interpret finance system transaction data produced to proactively identify issues and investigate accordingly
• Using data to identify improvements to the existing control framework
• Conduct regular control reviews across finance systems
• Produce regular revenue assurance reporting and maintenance of control dashboards
• Participate in various project initiatives across the finance division focused on improving the quality and efficiency of existing processes
• Support finance teams to conduct new deal reconciliation and monitor contractual obligations with external partners

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Practical, hands-on, experience comfortable working with large data sets and control procedures
• A degree in related business area
• Attention to detail and ability to derive and analyse information from various sources
• Strong Excel skills, performing data analysis and designing reports
• Excellent communication skills able to produce clear and concise outputs suitable for different audiences
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English (C1)

Even better if you have:

• Experience working in the finance sector
• Experience working with the systems Zuora / Oracle / Looker / JIRA / Confluence
